My Olympic DLO💻

My Olympic DLO💻

Asalaam Alaikum everyone. Today I am going to be blogging about my Olympic DLO. DLO stands for digital learning object. Since we are in lockdown we had to make  a DLO on a paralympian. I chose Amanda Cameron who is a para cycler in the Paralympics. We had to work on it each day so we could add more and more information each day. There were lots of ahletes to choose from. While I was making my DLO I learnt about the paralympics and how it is different from the Olympics. The process of it was I got to learn about an athlete I didn't know about before. It was really fun doing the DLO and hope we get to do it again when we go back to school. Here is the link to my DLO about Amanda.

Here are some photos of my DLO.

  1. Hi Amara. You have included clear facts in your DLO, well done. I’m wondering why you chose Amanda Cameron? I didn’t know how she could race a cycle with having no sight, but you explained that. Thank you. Maybe you could explain how a Paralympian is different from an Olympian. Keep up your great online learning. Stay safe and happy in your bubble.

  2. Awesome work Amara, I have learnt so much about Amanda Cameron from the information you have researched. To have sight and hearing impairments would make cycling very difficult it so great that they have the tandem option available. Keep up the excellent work.

I also like how you have presented your information, very clear and easy to follow. Your use of imagery is great, especially with the medals!
