Teaching Cultural Games🎊
Asalaam Alaikum everyone. Today I am going to blog about teaching cultural games to the senior students. The year 6 leaders taught the year 5's some cultural games that the leaders learned from parents. The different games were Aussie rules from Australia, Stream from Russia, Wizards also from Russia, Caber Toss from Scotland, Bamboo stick game from Japan, and last but not least Ulu Maika from Hawaii. My group had to teach Stream. Only 3 groups teached first and then the other groups that were left teached after lunch. In the afternoon the groups that were presenting the games before lunch were put into a group with the year 5's. My group went to Aussie rules first and then went to Wizards. We didn't get to do the last game because there was no time. What went well for us was when everybody was having fun and listning to the instructions.
Here are some photos of the day
