Family Fun Day🛴

Family Fun Day🛴

Asalaam Alaikum bloggers. Today I am going to tell you about family fun day. We had family fun day last Friday. It was so exciting because we didn't get to do this fun day last year. We had to wear our house colours. Also we were split into our house groups. The house groups we have at school are Pukeko-green, Ruru-blue, Kea-red, and last but not least Tui-yellow. There were 4 activities that we had to rotate around. The 4 activities were the wheels, the slip and slide, bouncy water castle, the pool, and the obstacle course. We were lucky because we also got to have a cake sale to fundraise for the school senior camp. I was in the house group Pukeko. The first event my group went to was the bouncy castle waterslide. First we had  to change into our spare clothes that we bought. Next we went to the wheels. I rode a scooter and a bike. Third activity we went to was the pool/slip and slide. Last but not least we went to the obstacle course. We fundraised over 1,000 dollars. It was a hot but fantastic day.

Emergency pack🔦

Emergency pack 🔦

Have you ever had to evacuate from your house?

Asalaam Alaikum everybody. Today I am going to tell you and blog about lockdown No.4 and an emergency pack. So Auckland basically went on lockdown No.4 starting from Monday 8th March 2021. So we had to do online learning. For some reason we got an earthquake warning 3 times. One at 2:00pm at night and then another at 4:00am. This was the earthquake times. We had another warning at 9:00am as well for the tsunami warning. This is why it is very important to have an emergency pack. In our emergency you should have a phone that is charged, food that is (Non perishable), First aid kit, Water, umbrella for shade. These are the things you should have for an midday emergency. If it's only possible.

For a night emergency you should have Torch/batteries, Blankets, Back pack, Water, Wipes or nappies if you have a little baby, Radio, Waterproof jacket, Pack of cards or books about the emergency or you could have travel board games. Fly spray if you need it. These are the things you should have a night emergency. If you haven't packed you better should. My teacher told us how lots of people who eavacuated came to her house.

Learning in lockdown!🖥

Learning in lockdown!🖥

Asalaam Alaikum everyone. Today I am going to tell you and blog about lockdown 4. I was so excited to be going to school on Monday and then I heard the news that we were going back to lockdown 4. So my dad went to school to go and pick up my chromebook. Our teacher made a slideshow for us called lockdown creation and a lockdown diary. I was feeling disappointed because I was going to go to Jellicoe pools with my friends. I was also feeling good because when lockdown is over I get to go to Jellicoe pools with my friends. My favourite activity was writing because it is my favourite subject. Also my favourite family activity was making a obstacle course and racing. I am feeling happy about being back to school and seeing everyboday in person. I hope we do not go back into lockdown.

Here is my lockdown creations slideshow and a link to my lockdown diary and all the things I have been talking about.
