 Slip and Slide🌊

Salaam everybody. Today I am going to tell you and blog about the slip and slide. We did the slip and slide which means water slide. We were so lucky to be doing the slip and slide for fun. This year we didn't have an oppurtunity to do the slip and slide so thats why we did it. First we got split into 2 groups. One of the groups went to the swimming pool and the other went to the slip and slide. The people who didn't have their togs they just helped with the slip and slide. My group first went to the swimming pool while the other group went down the slip and slide. 

The swimming pool was so much fun some people were watching the slip and slide people go down the slide. The teachers even took some funny pictures of people. Next my group went down the slip and slide. It was so much fun. First  Dave (School Caring person) had to hose the water slide and put some liquid in a bucket and then tip the bucket down the water slide so we could go down it. The whole school getted to do it. The juniors, The middles, and last but not least the seniors. There were some people looking quite funny cause the soap covered their whole face.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness

Salaam everyone! Today I am going to blog and tell you about mindfulness. We only had 4 sessions with Whaea Stephanie. We were very lucky to have mindfulness sessions with Whaea Stephanie. We had to choose a buddy and put our feet and hold hands and it was called a waka. We also played a game were everyone holds hands and we can't let go and we go through a hoop. I think we did mindfulness to learn how to control our breath when we have different emotions like anger, Sad, Frustrated. I can't wait for Whaea Stephanie to come back next year and teach us some more mindfulness.

Today I am hoing to tell you and blog about Summer learining Journey (SLJ) for 2020. Te Waka Ako started the Summer Learning Journey. We started of with teaser. For the summer Learinig Journey we did the art coulouring book. We had to decide which picture we wanted to coulour in. I decided to coulour in a picture called Composition. The person who made that picture was Mohammed Melehi Barjeel Art Foundation.
